BandCalledCatch is a dynamic rock band born and raised in Chicago, IL.
The best way to experience BCC is in person, live. It's all about the live show and the story of the song. The connection between the band and the people they love. Dust off your dancing shoes and come say hello.
BCC has been honored to share bills with folks like Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros, Crash Kings, Cory Chisel & the Wondering Sons, The Trippin Billies, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, and hundreds of other truly talented knowns and unknowns.
The dynamic, fun rock sound created by BandCalledCatch is like Jello; no matter who you are, there's always room for it.

"...Undeniably strong pop songwriting and genuinely witty lyrics"
Jim DeRogatis,
Chicago Sun Times
"This performance was lively and full of energy that kept everyone moving to the beat... You couldn't help but feed off the rockin vibes from the band."
Southside Fearless Radio, MOBFest Performance
"Band Called Catch isn’t a studio band. They don’t deserve to be surrounded by 4 walls with a bunch of microphones in between them. These guys (and a hot gal, – seriously – check out their myspace) belong on a stage – in a hot room, not dark though. – Band is much too peppy, – light is needed. They aren’t sad, super serious songwriters who wonder why they were born. Here’s what they are: a witty, upbeat band with a strong appeal to those of you who enjoy music from Sublime (without the drug references), Dave Matthews Band (without the annoying fans), Collective Soul (without the band), and Barenaked Ladies (without the lameness? Is that a word?) ."

what exactly is BC3?
BC3 is our version of the broken down set. This is a unique way to see BandCalledCatch in a smaller, relaxed, more intimate setting.
BC3 sets can last as long as 4 hours. You will hear all the classic BandCalledCatch songs, along with many of our favorite covers. (There are also many BandCalledCatch original songs that are reserved strictly for the BC3 set)
BC3 is perfect for venues with a smaller performance area, venues who would like more cover songs, venues who want longer sets, Venues who don't have a sound system, & Venues who are looking to control the volume more (no full drum kits).
For more information, or to book a BC3 set, drop us an email in the contact page.
